Global Phase Out of Fluorescent Lights- Introducing LED!

The world of lighting is changing before our eyes and at least in the lighting sector we can get away from toxic mercury for once and for all.  There is a global movement to deal with the health of our ground water that is being polluted by mercury.  Every light bulb tossed in the trash contains mercury which eventually breaks down and gets into our groundwater supplies.
Firms can now replace their existing inefficient lighting with energy efficient lighting such as LED which by the way contains zero traces of mercury.
As a manufacturer I can say the technology is excellent and  the energy savings cannot be ignored. Energy costs in the US have been rising 6.5% annually over past 30 years and we don't see that changing anytime soon. Firms have 2 options that are both smart; implement a solar array providing they have the roof space and change their lighting to LED.
Energy efficency is here, it is easy, it is LED.
